A new report, Civil Action, has been published by Pro Bono Economics to mark the start of the new two-year Law Family Commission on Civil Society. The study shows strong public support for the work of charities, particularly for their role in helping the vulnerable in society. However, it suggests that there is significant room for improvement in the way the UK’s social sector works.
