Events, Admin and Comms Officer Yorkshire Funders

We are looking for a new person to join the team. Are you an organised, detail-oriented individual with a passion for events and communication? Yorkshire Funders is looking for an Events, Admin and Communications Officer to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be at the heart of collaboration among grantmakers across Yorkshire, contributing to a thriving voluntary and community sector.

Details of the role are as follows:

Location: Home-based (Yorkshire)

Hours: 21-28 hours per week  – hours to be agreed with the selected candidate

Salary: £18,000 – £24,000 (depending on hours, FTE £30,000)

What you’ll do: 

You’ll lead the organisation of high-quality events, including our flagship Annual Conference, and manage a variety of virtual and in-person gatherings. Working closely with the Director, you’ll ensure smooth event execution and effective communication with members. Additionally, you’ll manage memberships, financial records, and maintain the Yorkshire Funders website and social media presence.

What we’re looking for: 

  • Extensive event management experience
  • Strong administration skills
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Zoom, WordPress, and social media platforms
  • Self-motivated, with experience working from home
